Entries close this week for our 5th event. You simnply don't want to miss out on a touring experience. Every year we get better and better and so do you after riding four days in the hills of Mpumalanga!

Remember the race is geared towards the average rider who just loves to ride. You don't have to be genetically gifted to finish comfortably - you just need a reasonable level of fitness and sense of adventure.

Where else would you get water points serving shooters alongside the USN energy drinks?

Then there are a select few who are in line to earn a place in the Club Classique. They are the guys and gals who have finished 5 MTN Panorama Tours. Yes, every one since inception. And every year as we go, more and more riders will enter this prestigious club. Here is the jersey that will get presented to those lucky few after this years race. As soon as entries close, we will publish the names of those in line for this honour.

Under Trained is not a good idea

Year to date Training = 417km

MTN Panorama Tour Training Camp = 226km out of a possible 310km

Excuses = plenty but none good enough!

Yep, if you are doing the tour, more training than this is required. Luckily, we know that you are more responsible and committed and that you know you want to avoid pain and suffering. You do, don't you?

There are about 7 weeks to the Tour, more than enough time to get some serious training and saddle hours in. That Stage One is still brutal and we are more convinced than ever that it is a stage to respect and manage carefully. If you are a novice to the Tour, whatever else you do, don't go out too hard on this first day. The potholes in the Kiepersol section are horrendous again this year and we hope they'll be repaired in time but for the rest, good riding.

Don't wait too long to source your accommodation and remember, entries close soon so don't miss out.

The entries for the 5th edition of the MTN Panorama Tour are open.

2010 promises to be a big year for all of us and the country. So make sure you also get to participate in a event that will challenge you and reward you.

The dates are 24th - 27th April 2010 and starting as always, at Casterbridge, White River. The entry is R3050 per team and there will be a select few cyclists in line for their 5th race in a row. We'll have something special for you.

The training camp is scheduled for 5th - 7th March, 2010 where you can test your fitness levels and team dynamics.

Please read the rules carefully. They are unique to this race and you may be unfamiliar with our requirements.
